A Social-Emotional Approach to Autism Therapy
Hi there! Our play-based therapy focuses on social and emotional development, partnering with parents to create a personalized, developmentally appropriate experience for every child.
Before autistic children are ready for structured academic learning, they need a strong foundation in social and emotional development. This includes skills like emotional regulation, engagement, communication, and the ability to connect with others, all of which are essential for success in a classroom setting.
Current research in early autism intervention shows that children make the most progress when therapy is both intensive and relationship-based. This means they benefit from receiving at least 12 hours per week of developmentally appropriate support. These hours can take place fully in our clinic, or through a combination of in-clinic sessions and guided support at home with their family.
At this stage of development, learning happens through connection, play, and emotionally meaningful interaction, not through repetition or compliance. Our approach is designed to support this kind of growth from the very beginning.

No, this is not ABA. Our approach is relationship-based and focused on social-emotional development. Instead of using repetition or rewards to teach behaviors, we support your child’s growth through play, connection, and emotionally meaningful interactions.

We are a no shoe clinic, so please be prepared to remove your shoes and have fun! We will follow your child's interests and interact together in a way that supports their development. We will also spend some time discussing your concerns and highlighting your child's strengths.
