The International Floortime Expo 2027
Real sessions. Real moments. Real learning, from the whole Floortime world. The first international gathering built around actual video of actual Floortime work.
What does Floortime actually look like?
For decades, Floortime has been taught in books, courses, and certifications. This expo asks a different question: what does it actually look like when we do the work?
The inaugural International Floortime Expo 2027 is a hybrid, single-track event built around video-based presentations of real Floortime sessions and moments, presented by the clinicians, parents, teachers, and program directors who lived them. Every presenter shares real footage of their own work and speaks to the same central question: how does this moment support the child's ability to relate, communicate, and think?
The expo is intentionally ecumenical. Every corner of the Floortime world is welcome (every setting, every country, every clinical style), as long as the work is grounded in following the child's lead, meeting them at their developmental milestones, and expanding challenges in a co-regulated way.
You do not need a Floortime certificate or credential to present. Completion of any specific Floortime curriculum is not required. If you are doing real Floortime work with children (clinician, parent, teacher, program director, or otherwise) and your footage meets the content floor above, your submission is welcome.

The organizing question
How does the moment on this video support the child's ability to relate, communicate, and think?
Every presentation. Every track. Every setting. One shared through-line.
Co-hosted by two organizations in service of the Floortime community
Stanley I. Greenspan MD Inc.
Stanley I. Greenspan MD Inc. carries forward the clinical legacy of Dr. Stanley Greenspan, whose developmental work with children on the autism spectrum and with related developmental differences shaped a generation of clinicians, parents, and educators.
Through stanleygreenspan.com, professional courses, and the Ask Stanley AI companion, the organization continues to make Dr. Greenspan's thinking available to families and professionals worldwide.
Bloom Developmental Center
Bloom Developmental Center is a working clinical program bringing Floortime to children and families every day.
Through bloomdevelopmentalcenter.com, the center serves families in League City, TX with developmental therapy and family intensives grounded in the Greenspan Floortime Approach®.
As a hands-on clinical partner in the expo, Bloom grounds the event in the reality of daily practice, not just the theory of the approach.

Frequently asked
What is The International Floortime Expo 2027?
The inaugural international gathering of the Floortime community. A hybrid, single-track event built around video-based presentations of real Floortime sessions and moments by clinicians, parents, teachers, and program directors from around the world. Every session is anchored to one central question: how does the moment on the video support the child's ability to relate, communicate, and think?
When and where is the Expo?
April 16–17, 2027. The main location is South Shore Harbour Resort in League City, TX (25 minutes from Houston Hobby Airport), with satellite hubs in participating US states and countries worldwide.
Who should attend?
Occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, mental health providers, developmental pediatricians, psychologists, parents and caregivers, teachers, program directors, students, and researchers working with children on the autism spectrum or with related developmental differences.
How do I apply to present?
Fill out the presenter application form. You'll share real footage of your own Floortime work (session or moment) and speak to how it supports the child's ability to relate, communicate, and think. Presenters attend free, keep full ownership of their footage, and are responsible for obtaining family consent.
Do I need a Floortime certificate or credential to present?
No. You do not need a certificate, credential, or completion of any specific Floortime curriculum to apply or present. The Expo is open to anyone whose work meets the content floor: following the child's lead, meeting the child at their developmental milestones, and expanding challenges in a co-regulated way. Clinicians, parents, teachers, program directors, and anyone else doing real Floortime work with children are all welcome to submit.
Is the Expo recorded or streamed later?
No. The expo is live and only live. Sessions are not recorded, saved, archived, licensed, or redistributed. This protects the families in the footage, protects the presenters' clinical work, and keeps the event a genuinely live community gathering.
Does the Expo offer CEUs?
Formal CEU accreditation is not being pursued for this inaugural year. Every registered attendee receives a certificate of attendance listing 12–18 total contact hours, which can be submitted to your own licensing or credentialing body to request CE credit under their rules.
What footage counts as "real Floortime work"?
Real sessions or real moments, not lectures or role-plays. 5-10 minute unedited clips are acceptable. Phone footage is fine if it's landscape/horizontal. The work must be grounded in following the child's lead, meeting them at their developmental milestones, and expanding challenges in a co-regulated way.
Can my local community host a satellite hub?
Yes. Hub registration will open alongside attendee registration. Hubs collect their own local registration fees and pay a flat access fee to the main host. More details on the registration page as hubs come online.
How can my organization sponsor?
Two sponsorship tiers are available: an exhibitor booth at the main Texas location (South Shore Harbour Resort, League City, TX, Tier 1), and pre-recorded commercials played to the full expo audience (in-person and satellite hubs) before session breaks (Tier 2). Sponsor packages with pricing will be announced with the registration launch.
